How To Get Straight Hair
How To Get Straight Hair by Hairstyles & Haircuts Summer 2008
Looking at Jennifer Aniston, anybody would love to get super sexy straight hair to make them look as glamorous as the actress. There are several ways to achieve this look. Using thermal reconditioning, a chemical solution is used and a flattening iron is used to straighten the hair. The effect last for 6 – 10 months.
Straightening the hair using a flat iron, it has two plates which are either made of ceramic or metal and the hair is pulled between them. This gives a temporary straightening effect. Due to high heat, it can be quite damaging. Silicones and balms protect the hair during this process.
This is the old fashioned way of wrapping the hair around the head and pinning it with bobby pins to get the straight hair. To add volume to the hair, a large curler is put at the crown. Work with hair that’s slightly damp and to speed up the process, use the lowest setting on the blow dryer. Another way is to use the combination hair dryer/ hair straightener. There’s no need for blow drying and it also protects the hair in the process.
These are some of the methods that are used to achieve the straight look of the hair.
