Diet and Healthy Hair
The healthy hair needs nourishment from the inside, as good diet is important for every part of the body. If the diet is not proper then this can cause various hair problems like dryness, brittleness, dandruff and hair loss.

As hair are made up of protein you should include non-vegetarian food in your diet such as lean meat, fish, eggg and the vegetarian protein rich diet should include paneer, yoghurt, peas, beans, dals and nuts. The whole grain cereals should be eaten instead of cereals like rava and maida. The B-Complex vitamins maintain the health and shine of the hair and also prevent hair fall.
The good source of these vitamins are fresh fruits and vegetables that should be eaten raw for good supply of nutrients. Some of the minerals like iron, magnesium, zinc, sulphur, phosphorous, potassium and iodine help in maintaining good health so one should eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and whole grain cereals for it.

Include a vegetable salad in your daily diet as it is made of carrot, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and cabbage. One can also add sprouts to increase protein content of the salad.
Yoghurt is also good for hair so take as much of the curd for healthy hair. Avoid overcooked, confectionary items, fried foods and aerated drinks that have no nutritional value.
