Summer is a time for fun. Curly hairstyles are great for summer because they are always fun, cute, and romantic. You don’t have to straighten your hair to look great in the summertime. As long as you take proper care of your hair where humidity and heat are concerned, your hair will look wonderful.
A medium length hairstyle perfect for curly hair is to have your curls reaching your shoulders. If you have naturally curly hair, simply part your hair on the side and let your curls fall down around your face. If you don’t have naturally curly hair, use a large barreled curling iron to get big bouncy curls. Part you hair on the side, and there you go! If you have bangs, let them fall slightly over one eye for a flirty and cute look.
Another great style is to have your hair done in long layers. This style is perfect for medium or long hair, though you could adapt it if you wanted to suit short hair just as well. Make sure that each layer is curled – you want to make a spiral curl with this style. To do this, take a small curling iron, curl your hair in a spiral motion, from the ends to the roots (think of it like curling your hair with the iron pointed up!), and hold it for a second or two. Pin your hair, and when finished, spray it with a holding spray that won’t weigh your hair down too much. Now, let the curls down, loosen as desired with your fingers, and add a cute headband for a great style that won’t be in your face while you’re on the beach.
